Beautifully earthy and velvet-smooth Turkish red wine made from Kuzubag, a variety native to Anatolia. The grapes were hand-picked from the high-altitude inland Güney region of Denizli and fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness. The result is a textured wine with plum and ginger flower aromas with red cherry, plum, leather and silky tannins on the palate.

The Lecco Roble is a juicy, approachable red from Ribera del Duero.  Made from younger (15Year Old) vines, this 100% Tempranillo spends 5 months in a mixture of French and American oak barriques.  It is a delicious expression of Ribera del Duero with a lovely balance of freshness and dark fruits with a touch of supportive oak.

Georgia is considered to be the ‘cradle of wine', as 8,000 year-old indigenous Rkatsiteli grape seeds have been found in clay vessels. Vachnadziani was established in 1953and is one of the oldest wineries in Georgia. The 2024 Secateurs Red Blend by AA Badenhorst has to be amongst the best he's made.  Adi bought a neighbouring farm that he used to buy grapes from but now has pick of the crop for himself.  There's a hgher proportion of Cabernet in this release than usual, adding more cassis and dark fruit flavours to the mineral tinged spice of the Shiraz. Fuller than normal too, but by no means less approachable, with juicy tannins and terrific balance.

Here's something you don't come across everyday...a Nebbiolo/Cabernet blend that is fermented and aged in concrete egg.  The choice of fermentation vessel aids circulation during the ferment which imparts depth, volume and texture to the resultant wine.  This fabulous wine not only has a cool, egg-shaped label, but drinks beautifully - showing bright acidity and a lovely balance between sweet blackcurrant fruit and something altogether more savoury and herbal. The finish is clean and multi-layered.
