The 50 & 50 is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Sangiovese and has a deep, ruby red color, producing aromas of red berry fruits and black cherries which intertwine with scents of sweet tobacco and mediterranean herbs. The flavour is rich, enveloping and long lingering with lots of ripe fruit and warm notes of baking spices.

Delicate initially but building on the palate, this is more like a baby Brunello than 'humble' Rosso. Made from hand harvested, sustainably grown grapes which are gently pressed there is a wonderful freshness to the wine. This gorgeous red ages for 6 months in steel tanks and 6 months in bottle prior to release.
