Sheltered below the watchful Sierra Cantabria, the vineyards are all old, small plots on chalky-clay soils with a dedicated team of vineyard workers carrying out organic practices.

The Mencia 'Silk' from Bodegas Adria in Bierzo is an intense garnet colour in the core with youthful purple edges. Interesting and complex on the nose with red fruits together with balsamic touches and aromas vanilla. There's a lovely balance of fruit, acidity and gentle tannins on the finish.

Mencia

Can do Sil is a wonderfully fresh, fruit led blend of Garnacha and Mencia produced from lightly macerated fruit from young vines. The ferment is made in stainless steel and the wine bottled after the spring equinox. It is a lightfooted, violet and blackberry infused wine with elements of mineral coolness. A refreshingly breezy and bright Spanish red with notes of sour cherry, raspberry, violets and sweet spice. It's unoaked and very drinkable.
