The Vallisto Torrontes is a fabulous example of this intriguing and highly aromatic white grape.  Made from 70 year old vines grown between 1700 and 2000 metres above sea level, the Vallisto Torrontes shows the distinctive exotic aromas jasmine, orange blossom and peach on the nose with a lively, zippy palate that is dry and fresh with mouth-watering acidity on the finish.  A lovely aperitif if you can handle the aromatics, but even better with food, especially spicier dishes like Thai curries.

Made with free run juice that is fermented at cool temperatures before resting on it's fine lees for 60 days.  The result is a wine which shows an intense nose that is fresh with stone fruit and floral notes.  The palate is soft and dry with more intensity and finishing on a pleasing bitter note.  This elegant white is a terrific wine to be enjoyed with seafood, especially shellfish, and lighter mediterranean starters.
