Description
The Txacoli, Arabako Tantaka is a truly cracking example of Txacoli. Earthy, aromatic and ultra refreshing – a superb shellfish wine. The fruit is hand harvested in small baskets and brought to the winery in the village for a very light pressing in a pneumatic press, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel. After 6 months on fine lees, the wine is racked and bottled.
Jaunjo Tallaetxe is a priest and shepherd who felt there was more to his regions wines than just pouring them from a height into tumblers (as is the traditional way), and set about replanting his parents vineyards and creating his own cellar. The results of his efforts are really special and shows Txacoli in a whole new light.

The rounded, approachable finish has good length.
