Description

The Castillo Del Moro Airen/Sauvignon is a modern, crisp white that demonstrates bright citrus characteristics on the nose, while offering deliciously vibrant apple fruit flavours and a zesty twang courtesy of the Sauvignon Blanc on the palate. A long clean finish with hints of grapefruit.

I normally go for a New Zeleand Sauvignon but tasted this and was not disappointed. Definitely recommend, very, very nice!

Jean-Christophe Bott is heir to the family tradition dating back to 1795, when his ancestor, Jean-Martin Geyl tended his vines and made his wine. Jean-Christophe Bott has been responsible for Domaine Bott-Geyl since 1993 and he converted the vineyards to be organic in 2000 and then biodynamic in 2002.  In the vineyards he concentrates on low yields and in the cellars he oversees the vinification in the most natural and minimalist manner to produce wines with precise varietal character.

The Sensale Grillo Bio is one of our best selling wines and a brilliant all-rounder. Straw yellow in colour with a balanced palate that is both savoury and fruity at the same time. Citrus notes and persistent floral tinges mingle with ginger spice and lovely fresh acidity.

    Chenin Blanc

The Zevenwacht Tin Mine White is a stunning blend of Chenin, Chardonnay, Roussanne, Viognier and Semillon, coming from vineyards planted on decomposed granite soils which lie between 200 and 350m above sea level.  Ageing in 500 litre French oak barrels helps add to the wonderful texture without detracting from the impeccably integrated exotic, spicey fruit and lively yet balanced acidity.
