The Sancerre Blanc from Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy is vinified slowly in small vats to ensure that the delicate aromas of Sauvignon are preserved. This is a wonderfully elegant expression of Loire Valley Sauvignon which balances fresh cut grass , citrus fruits and delicate minerality perfectly.
The very hands on nature of this small Domaine results in wines which are characterful and elegant and a true expression of both grape and region.

It has a particularly tropical character and a very fresh feel on the palate, with steely minerality and a zippy background acidity giving invigorating tartness to keep the wine luscious and buoyant. The rounded, approachable finish has good length.

Picpoul
The Montagnac cellar was created in 1937 and has grown with vineyards stretching over 7 communes all along the Thau lake in the mountainous foothills of Hérault. Around 2,000 hectares are vinified on 2 different sites, a major part of which is located on clay-limestone soils with some pockets of marl as well. The climate is Mediterranean, dry and hot during summer, but more temperate due to it's proximity to the sea.
