Here's something you don't come across everyday...a Nebbiolo/Cabernet blend that is fermented and aged in concrete egg.  The choice of fermentation vessel aids circulation during teh ferment which imparts depth, volume and texture to the resultant wine.  This fabulous wine not only has a cool, egg-shaped label, but drinks beautifully - showing bright acidity and a lovely balance between sweet blackcurrant fruit and something altogether more savoury and herbal. The finish is clean and multi-layered.

The Villa Wolf Pinot Noir is warm and medium-bodied, with a firm acid structure. Its bright black cherry fruit is juicy, ripe, and forward, with a spicy mid-palate and lingering finish. A minimum of twelve months of ageing in used French oak barriques gives the wine a smoky depth and a nice touch of earthy tannins. It’s an excellent, approachable red wine for everyday dining.

Produced from several vineyards with Silex (flint) soils, this delicious Vouvray is pale yellow with a very reserved nose. The Lo & Behold white is very grown up for such a humble price tag.  Made from 90% Chenin Blanc, 10% of which is aged in french oak, the remainder naturally fermented in stainless steel, plus 10% Viognier that is fermented in cement tanks.  The wine is blended before bottling, resulting in a fresh and vibrant wine with citrus and pear fruit alongside more tropical notes.  The finish is long and balanced and leaves one wanting more!
