The Iris Malbec by Bodgegas Staphyle is one of our bestselling wines and is consistently rated very highly by critics. There’s a wonderful fruit character, dominated by cherries and blueberries, that is backed up by hints of violets and peppery spice. The palate is rounded and juicy, with silky tannins and an almost dangerously drinkable edge!
Bodega Staphyle was born in 2002 and is the realisation of the Porretta’s family dream to produce their own wines from. Today this boutique winery marries that tradition with the latest in wine making technology to produce harmonious wines that offer terrific value for money.
