The Entre les Vents Cotes du Rhone Blanc is a wonderfully expressive white wine showing a richly layered nose. The palate is fresh and fruit-driven, with flavours of peach, lemon and apricot, while subtle woody nuances and a refined minerality emerge on the finish, adding depth and elegance. Made with mostly Grenache Blanc with Marsanne and Viognier in supporting roles, this lovely new addition to our list is a great aperitif but would match grilled fish and white meat dishes with creamy sauces.

This tiny 6.5 hectare domaine in the Loire was started by Emile Balland in 1999. The Ballands have been making wines in the Loire since 1650 and his father was instrumental in achieving recognition for the young AOC Coteaux du Giennois in the 1980s.The La Pente is a first class Sancerre and the pinnacle of Emile' production. Pinot Noir
Fournillon have 23 hectares of vines in Chablis in the cool, north of burgundy and are predominantly producers of classic, steely Chablis (see our fantastic value 'house' Chablis), but they also produce some red and this delicious cremant from 100% Pinot Noir. All fruit is hand-harvested and vinified carefully to produce an easy drinking, fruit-forward fizz that is well balanced and nicely rounded with a fine mousse. Excellent as an apertif.
