The 50 & 50 is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Sangiovese and has a deep, ruby red color, producing aromas of red berry fruits and black cherries which intertwine with scents of sweet tobacco and mediterranean herbs. The flavour is rich, enveloping and long lingering with lots of ripe fruit and warm notes of baking spices.

The Benegas Sangiovese comes from vines planted by the family in 1935 and represents the perfect blend of 'New' and 'Old' world.  Distinctly Sangiovese with an Argentine twist this deeply coloured red wine shows lots of wild red fruits with notes of vanilla and cocoa on the nose.  The palate is nicely structured with more red fruits, hints of spice and perfectly poised acidity.  The finish is long and balanced with herbal-tinged smoky notes.

We love the Predappio Sangiovese from Chiara Condello here at DWC.  Made with the Sangiovese Piccolo clone, the grapes are small and produce concentrated wines when in the hands of such a talented winemaker.  Chiara works organically and utilises long, slow fermentations to produce an intense, concentrated Sangiovese.  Beautifully lifted and perfumed on the nose, the wine is both intense yet delicate, with cherry, plum and raspberry fruit on the palate and wonderfully poised acidity.
