The Reiterpfad Riesling from the fabulous Hanewald-Schwerdt has flavours of dried herbs, pepper in combination with ripe yellow stone fruits and hints of fennel. Creamy and nutty in the mouth again herbs and fennel, fine acidity with a lot of structure.

Chasselas

This is a delicious, more'ish white made mainly from Chasselas, the grape variety which is typical to the Canton of Vaud. Yves and Antoine de Mestral like to play around with it, making wine several different styles, of which this was our favourite.  Quite classic in style for Chasselas with a lovely balance of the creamy, fruity, floral and mineral palate. Rich and complex, this is a perfect wine to sip on its own, enjoy with fish and seafood.

Perfectly sited on protected, south-facing, chalk soils, the D'Urberville vineyard produces perfectly ripe grapes for exuberant, fruit led English sparkling wines.  We are proud to represent them and love the fact that it is less than a mile from the shop as the crow flies.  Zesty, fresh and very easy drinking this is a great aperitif style of English fizz.

The Flametree SRS (Sub-Regional-Series) Chardonnay reveals classic grapefruit, white peach and dried pear fruits. This gives way to barrel ferment and sulphide complexities, providing a lovely savoury oyster shell/saline character and adding to the wines complexity and overall purity.
