Barbaresco DOCG is produced every year from the 100 hectares of vineyards controlled by the Produttori within the appellation, mainly in the Barbaresco village itself. The Monte Luzzo Barbera is another fabulous wine from the fantastic Cantine Povero.  A wonderfully clean and pure expression of the grape with fresh cherry, plum and wild berry fruit mingled with hints of violets on the nose along with notes of spice.  The palate is beautifully rounded and fresh with an abundance of quaffable fruit.  The wine spends 6 months in oak to add texture and roundness rather than imparting oaky characteristics.
