This classic Barbera is aged in stainless steel tanks, allowing the primary aromas of the varietal to shine through, including fruity notes such as cherry, orange peel, plum, and berries, all backed up by violet and elderberry floral notes. Soft tannins and the marked acidity make this charming little wine a very versatile wine when it comes to food matching.
Cantine Povero is a wonderful, historic winery that perfectly blends authenticity and tradition handed down from generation to generation, with an innovative approach and distinct ecologically sustainable philosophy. The grapes for the Lete Vautrain Brut 204 are harvested by hand and sorted prior to fermentation at a cool temperature, and ageing on lees takes place for a minimum of 36 months. The wine shows a lovely deep golden hue in the glass with apple, peach and apricot fruit complemented by dried fruits and classic biscuity notes. A well balanced, complex and rounded Champagne that is the perfect aperitif style.
