Description
The Viberti Buon Padre is a blend of 10 Barolo Cru’s that are fermented and partially aged seperately before being blended and aged again in truncated conical vats of untoasted French oak for 3 years prior to bottling. Each cru is selected to provide the perfect balance of fruit, structure and longevity to make a classic Barolo. The result is a Barolo that expresses vibrant acidity, aromatic breadth and refined tannin. As Claudio Viberti says, “Buon Padre is not just a wine, it is the bond with our family and our land”.

Red Blend
The Gonzo Combat Rouge is a rather unusual field blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Viognier which are co-fermented with whole bunch fermentation. The results is a beautifully supple yet plush and ripe red wine with sweet, spicy raspberry and cherry fruit. We've found it drinks best slightly chilled on a warm evening.

2023 Gamay, Domaine Moulin Camus, IGP Loire
Gamay
This 100% Gamay from Domaine Moulin Camus comes from grapes grown on a slope of pure mica schist which gives the wine juicy, rounded red fruits a bit of tautness and minerality. A warmer than normal, sulphur free maceration for three days helps bring out some warmth and roundness to the fruit, making it slightly beaujolais'esque but without the bubble gum/commercial edge that one would normally find in this price range.
