The Clea Verdejo comes from older, 20-25 year old vines that are planted at around 700 metres above sea level in Rueda.  This lovely wine is very typical of the variety, with lots of zesty vibrant citrus and stone fruit flavours and notes of cut grass.  This is a great wien to try if you're a Sauvignon Blanc fan and fancy something a little different.

The Odulin Friulano is made with hand harvested grapes that are treated with the utmost care to preserve their delicacy.  The grapes are gently de-stemmed and undergo a soft pressing prior to a cool, 10 - 12 day fermentation in stainless steel followed by lees ageing with part of the blend being aged in old barriques for 4 months.  Herbal and floral notes mingle with orange blossom and exotic fruits on the soft and elegant palate, showing hints of spice along with fresh, balanced acidity.

Great value Pinot Noir isn't usually associated with California so we were over the moon to discover this beauty from Pavette in Napa.  This is a wonderfully easy drinking Pinot with ripe red cranberry, raspberry and cherry fruits, a touch of smokiness and lovely creamy texture.  Ageing takes place in a mixture of stainless steel (80%) and French oak (20%) for 10 months prior to bottling.

Georgia is considered to be the ‘cradle of wine', as 8,000 year-old indigenous Rkatsiteli grape seeds have been found in clay vessels. Vachnadziani was established in 1953and is one of the oldest wineries in Georgia. With over 1,000 hectares of vineyard, covering the Kakheti region in eastern Georgia and the Imereti, Racha and Lechkhumi regions in western Georgia, Vachnadziani cultivates 25 vine varieties - the majority of which are indigenous. Theirexciting and dynamic range reveals all the charm of this historic winemaking land.
