The Brut Tradition Original 60/40 is made up of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from two vintages which are fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel.  It's extremely classy with a great depth of flavour showing apple fritter and brioche with fresh apple and lemon drop charatcters.  We are delighted to have these wines on our shelves, and also very lucky seeing as most of the production ends up on the tables of some of France's best Michelin Starred restaurants.

Chardonnay

The Laborie Blanc De Blancs Methode Cap Classique is complex and indulgent showing aromas of green apple and citrus. Hints of lime are accompanied by aromas of toasted bread and hazelnut. The palate is creamy, round and textured with an explosive acidity and lasting, elegant finish. This stunning sparkling wine is a regular award winner and once tasted it's not difficult to see why.  Superb value for money.

The Blanc de Blancs is our favourite wine in the Henriot stable by a long shot.   With a high proportion of reserve wines included and over 2/3rds of the cuvee coming from either Grand or Premier Cru vineyards it is little wonder that we enjoy it so much!

2023 Riesling Sekt Trocken, Hanewald-Schwerdt, Pfalz

Riesling

The Hanewald-Schwerdt Riesling Sekt Trocken has a steely lemon tinged nose with red apple and peach underpinned by zesty lime acidity, resulting in a lovely refreshing style.  This is by no means bone dry though, and with 23grams of residual sugar this a fruitier style that is a great alternative to Prosecco for those looking for something a little different.
