Description
The Brut Tradition Original 60/40 is made up of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from two vintages which are fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel. It’s extremely classy with a great depth of flavour showing apple fritter and brioche with fresh apple and lemon drop charatcters. We are delighted to have these wines on our shelves, and also very lucky seeing as most of the production ends up on the tables of some of France’s best Michelin Starred restaurants.
Delavenne are an outstanding 4th generation, family run grower based in Bouzy making elegant, organic and vegan friendly Champagnes exclusively from their Grand Cru vineyards. Minimal intervention and no malolactic fermentation means that the wines are clean and lively with a distinct purity.

This is a delicious, more'ish white made mainly from Chasselas, the grape variety which is typical to the Canton of Vaud. Yves and Antoine de Mestral like to play around with it, making wine several different styles, of which this was our favourite. Quite classic in style for Chasselas with a lovely balance of the creamy, fruity, floral and mineral palate. Rich and complex, this is a perfect wine to sip on its own, enjoy with fish and seafood.
