Description
Take a vinuous Tour de France with this carefully chosen selection of wines that represent the classic grape growing regions. This specially priced mixed case consists of one bottle each of the following:
Muscadet ‘Prestige’, Domaine la Bretonniere – Beautifully crisp example of a style which is making a comeback in terms of quality and popularity.
Bourgogne Chardonnay, Domaine Fournillon – Hailing from a terrific Chablis producer in the north of the region, this wonderful white Burgundy has some lovely weight on the mid-palate yet finishes elegantly with crisp, balanced acidity.
Tradition Rosé, Chateau St.Pierre, Provence – We simply had to include a Provence rosé on our tour de france! Very classic and never fails to the spot.
Beaujolais Villages ‘Cuvee Six’, Julienas-Chaintre – A lovely plump and rounded BoJo so typical of the region.
Un Bon Canon Cotes du Rhone – Grenache dominated and fruit forward, this wonderful Cotes du Rhone is almost dangerously easy to drink.
Astral de Puybarbe, Chateau Puybarbe, Cotes de Bourg – This classic claret has a wealth of up front generous fruit and is a great example of modern, accessible Bordeaux.

2021/22 Mont-Sur-Rolle Grand Cru, Maison Blanche, AOC La Cote
Chasselas
This is a delicious, more'ish white made mainly from Chasselas, the grape variety which is typical to the Canton of Vaud. Yves and Antoine de Mestral like to play around with it, making wine several different styles, of which this was our favourite. Quite classic in style for Chasselas with a lovely balance of the creamy, fruity, floral and mineral palate. Rich and complex, this is a perfect wine to sip on its own, enjoy with fish and seafood.

The wonderfully fresh and elegant Prosecco Brut Spumante from Terre dei Buth has joined the fabulous Frizzante styles on our shelves. This organic and vegan fizz is at once immensely appealing, with an enticing, softly textured palate of green apple, sherbert and gentle floral aromatics. The finish is fresh, superbly clean and a million miles away from the nasty mass produced wines which plague the supermarket shelves.
