Description
The Sanrome Arneis from Cascina Vengore is a beautiful example of the grape. Elegant, with a delicate almond nuttines and the perky freshness of mineral tinged citrus fruits, this delightful wine has intensity and body yet remains eminently drinkable and wonderfully refreshing.
The Terre Alfieri lies at the point where Roero, Langhe and Monferrato meet and has been cultivating vines since Roman times. Cascina Vengore sits in a natural amphitheatre that used to be a Roman Estate. Established in 2012 by young vigneron Lucrezia Povero, this fully certified organic estate makes wines with purity, freshness and a true sense of place.

2023 Riesling Sekt Trocken, Hanewald-Schwerdt, Pfalz
Riesling
The Hanewald-Schwerdt Riesling Sekt Trocken has a steely lemon tinged nose with red apple and peach underpinned by zesty lime acidity, resulting in a lovely refreshing style. This is by no means bone dry though, and with 23grams of residual sugar this a fruitier style that is a great alternative to Prosecco for those looking for something a little different.
