Description
This Grenache Noir from Nadal Hainault is utterly delightful. The pretty pale ruby colour hints at a wine that is light, but it’s by no means a weed. Softly textured in the mouth with bright red fruits and lovely balanced freshness on the finish. The eminently quaffable red wine is made with minimal intervention and no added sulphur. It displays a beautiful lightness and delicacy and could easily take a bit of chilling down in the summer months.
Nadal Hainault is a 6th Generation fully certified organic estate that produce wonderfully pure and fresh wines from their 45 hectares of unirrigated vines. With a keen eye on sustainability this is a property that truly cares about the environment in their vineyards and amongst the local area as a whole.

2020 Chateau Saransot-Dupre, Listrac Medoc, Magnum
Bordeaux Blend
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!
