Description
The Es Fresc is a delightful, light red designed to be drunk chilled on a summers day. The delicate nose shows aromas of ripe red fruits, light notes of coffee, tobacco, cherry and currants. There’s also subtle smoky notes from its brief time in oak barrels. The palate is light, sweet and silky in texture.

Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!
