Description

The William Robertson Chenin Blanc is one of our best selling white wines and a true crowd pleaser. Crisp green apple fruit, a hint of honeyed richness and lovely fresh acidity. Yummy!

The town of Robertson was established in 1852 and was named after Dr William Robertson, a Scottish minister, in recognition and appreciation of his many services to the community area.

Pinot Noir

Fournillon have 23 hectares of vines in Chablis in the cool, north of burgundy and are predominantly producers of classic, steely Chablis (see our fantastic value 'house' Chablis), but they also produce some red and this delicious cremant from 100% Pinot Noir.  All fruit is hand-harvested and vinified carefully to produce an easy drinking, fruit-forward fizz that is well balanced and nicely rounded with a fine mousse.  Excellent as an apertif.

Riesling

The Hanewald-Schwerdt Riesling Sekt Trocken has a steely lemon tinged nose with red apple and peach underpinned by zesty lime acidity, resulting in a lovely refreshing style.  This is by no means bone dry though, and with 23grams of residual sugar this a fruitier style that is a great alternative to Prosecco for those looking for something a little different.
