Description

Hailed as the ‘Lafite of the Languedoc’ Mas de Daumas Gassac is responsible for some of the most respected wines to have come out of the region.  This is a terrific value blend of Viognier and Marsanne that shows notes of lime blossom and honeysuckle, is smooth in the mouth with nice, waxy pear fruit, hints of verbena and garrigue herbs on the finish.

Puligny Montrachet Meunier.JPG

2021 Puligny Montrachet, Domaine Meunier

Chardonnay

The grapes for this approachable Puligny are hand harvested and undergo a gentle pressing.  The juice is then left to settle for a few days then put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.  Great persistence in the mouth, this wine has a wonderful freshness to it and can be enjoyed in it's youth.
