Description

The Grand Vin is Estela Perinetti’s top wine, produced from vines planted by her father in Tupungato in the 1960’s.  As with all Estela’s wines, the Grand Vin shows genuinely elegant fruit and seamless integration between both the varietals and oak.  This beautiful wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Malbec, fermented in used 500 litre barrels and aged in French oak for 16 months, 50% of which is new.  There’s plenty of red and black fruit in this elegant wine, with bordeaux’esque notes of tobacco and oak.  Medium bodied and very well balanced on the long finish, this terrific red displays Estelas skill at blending and although drinking well now, will age gracefully for years to come.

Chardonnay

The Flametree SRS (Sub-Regional-Series) Chardonnay reveals classic grapefruit, white peach and dried pear fruits. This gives way to barrel ferment and sulphide complexities, providing a lovely savoury oyster shell/saline character and adding to the wines complexity and overall purity.

Chasselas

This is a delicious, more'ish white made mainly from Chasselas, the grape variety which is typical to the Canton of Vaud. Yves and Antoine de Mestral like to play around with it, making wine several different styles, of which this was our favourite.  Quite classic in style for Chasselas with a lovely balance of the creamy, fruity, floral and mineral palate. Rich and complex, this is a perfect wine to sip on its own, enjoy with fish and seafood.

Champagne Blend

The grapes for the Lete Vautrain Brut 204 are harvested by hand and sorted prior to fermentation at a cool temperature, and ageing on lees takes place for a minimum of 36 months.  The wine shows a lovely deep golden hue in the glass with apple, peach and apricot fruit complemented by dried fruits and classic biscuity notes.  A well balanced, complex and rounded Champagne that is the perfect aperitif style.

2025 Pinot Noir Rose ‘Pink Colomb Bay’, Dom. La Colombette

Pinot Noir

The Pink Colomb Bay is consistently one of our best selling roses, this more'ish wine is wonderfully textured, with soft red fruits, a creamy texture in the mid-palate and then finishing dry.  The wonderful wines of the pioneering Domaine Colombette are characterised by the ability to be full flavoured and expressive whilst being refreshingly light in alcohol.
