Description
The Pinot Bianco grapes for the Penon tend to be small and concentrated, having ripened late in the high altitudes of the warm town of Penon. This wine has a fresh structure and elegant acidity, with concentrated aromas of apple, citrus and ripe pineapple.
Since it was established in 1932, Nals Margreid has focused on creating both varietal and terroir driven wines from South Tyrol, where Italy’s northernmost wine growing region borders on the Alps and the Dolomites. 170 hectares (65% white, 35% red wine) are cultivated in vineyards between 250-900 meters.
