Description

This wine comes from the Jurancon in south west France, with this region specialising in dry, medium sweet and sweet wines from the Petit and Gros Manseng grape varieties. These varieties are quite unique, they tend to be fruit driven, with a zesty spine, and honeyed notes as well as being interesting wines and very food friendly, they can, if stored correctly last for many years.

Petit Manseng from two seperate terroirs, hand-picked, foot-trodden and basket pressed, fermented and aged on the lees in 3-5 year old french oak barrels. Definitely a wine for ageing, but already showing the classic Manseng tang, with citrus and candied fruits.
