Chateau Gloria consistently punches above it’s weight and can happily rub shoulders with the more illustrious classed growths. Generously fruited and exuberant in the best vintages, the quality seems to get better and better.
This shows depth. Layers of fruit on a medium body. Juicy and bright with raspberry and cherry character and medium, creamy tannins. Fresh finish. Drink in 2022.

Chateau Gloria is a 50 hectare property established in 1950 by the late Henri Martin (hence not being included in the 1855 Cru Classe) The blend changes slightly from vintage to vintage but the 50 hectare estate is planted to 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot.

They spend 10-15 days fermenting in the tank before being put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. The wine then spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.
