Description
The Martinez Lacuesta Rioja Crianzais a generous, well-structured rioja has a lovely deep black-cherry colour, up front fruit and well-integrated oak which leads to an elegant finish. A perfect match for grilled red meat, game or mature cheeses.
Martinez Lacuesta has 66 hectares of vineyards just for reds, with this being at an altitude of between 478 and 559 metres above sea level. All of the red wine vineyards are around the Bodega in Haro, with the most important vineyards in Villalba de Rioja, Villarica in San Asensio and Finca la Platera in Haro. The high altitude, south facing vineyards provide perfect growing conditions.

2023 Mercurey Rouge 1er Cru, Domaine Meunier
Pinot Noir
The grapes for this wine are hand harvested from 2 parcels in the heart of Mercurey where the soil is clay and limestone. They spend 10-15 days fermenting in the tank before being put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. The wine then spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.
