Sanchez Romate are a small’ish sized Bodega that produce wonderfully complex sherries that are xcellent examples of their type. The Cardenal Cisneros PX is an amazing, naturally sweet wine which has a fantastic, deep mahogany colour and typically rich and velvety texture. The intense palate and nose has an abundance of figs, dried fruit and raisins alongside chocolate and coffee. The wine is dense and unctuous yet posesses a really clean and balanced vein of acidity that keeps it fresh on the amazingly long finish.
