Description
The Savage ‘Never Been Asked to Dance’ is made from 100% Chenin Blanc from a Paarl vineyard planted in 1956. As with all of Duncan’s wines, quantities are strictly limited, but quality is sky high!
Fermented in 600 litre neutral Stockinger barrels with 8 months on lees, the wine is complex and fruit packed yet really elegant with mineral notes, peach and exotic fruits alongside citrus, ginger and spice. The acidity is beautifully poised on the long, elegant finish. Drink or keep.

Chardonnay
The grapes for this approachable Puligny are hand harvested and undergo a gentle pressing. The juice is then left to settle for a few days then put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled. Great persistence in the mouth, this wine has a wonderful freshness to it and can be enjoyed in it's youth.
