Description
The Pecorino Oltremare from Piandimare is a cracking wine with notes of Pineapple, acacia and red apple on the nose and palate. Slight savoury, nutty hints come through on the finish along with peach notes and fine acidity.
The Piandimare project is a 70 strong group of farmers focussed on organic farming who are intent on producing the best wines possble. Hand harvested fruit is whole bunch fermented in stainless steel prior to ageing on fine lees for 3 months.

2021 Puligny Montrachet, Domaine Meunier
Chardonnay
The grapes for this approachable Puligny are hand harvested and undergo a gentle pressing. The juice is then left to settle for a few days then put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled. Great persistence in the mouth, this wine has a wonderful freshness to it and can be enjoyed in it's youth.

Silky, lively with nice acidity.There is the merest whiff of old oak to this wine which is used purely to some softness to the mouthfeel. This is very appealing and an extremely enjoyable take on Chardonnay.
