Description
The Denmark Pinot Noir from Harewood Estate in Western Australia is a blend of several vineyard plots. This wonderfully elegant, fruit driven style of Pinot shows off cool climate Aussie winemaking at it’s best. Red fruits, raspberry and cherry mingle with more complex notes of mocha and delicate spice. The finish is fresh and beautifully balanced, echoing the cool coastal vineyards where the grapes hail from.
Harewood Estate is a multi-award winning winery in the WA sub-region of Denmark. Owned by Jim Kellie since 2003, Harewoods mission hasn’t changed in over 20 years – to produce top class wines from grapes grown in low yielding vineyards that reflect the cool, ocean influenced climate.

2011 Chateau Bellegrave, AC Pomerol
Bordeaux Blend
The 2011 vintage had a hard act to follow coming after two exceptional years in Bordeaux and whilst the wines aren't as showy as the '09's and '10's they are charming and drinking beautifully with a decade in bottle.

2020 Chateau Saransot-Dupre, Listrac Medoc, Magnum
Bordeaux Blend
Chateau Saransot-Dupre is a favourably sited 17 hectares property that lies between Fourcas Dupré and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. Due to Listrac’s cooler temperatures, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are favoured over Cabernet Sauvignon to form the majority of the blend, helping them achieve optimum ripeness. Much like Chateau Fourcas Hosten, the wines have improved year on year since 2010 and the property were put on the radar thanks to a certain Robert Parker hailing the 2010 vintage as 'classed growth quality'. High praise indeed!

2022/23 Bourgueil, Domaine Des Mailloches
Cabernet Franc
Lively, ruby-red in colour, this wine has a fruity nose with prevailing aromas of red and black fruits. The palate is supple and rich. There's enough acidity and freshness to make this a good match to cooked pork dishes and white meats in general as well as roasts and a simple cheeseboard. Delicious when chilled down a few degrees below room temperature
