Description
The Grgich Hills Fume Blanc is a wonderful example of oaked Sauvignon Blanc. The nose mixes toastiness with tropical fruits, lemongrass and flinty minerality. The palate is both fresh and rounded with impeccably balanced fruit and acidity.
“Glazed lemons, pear drops, ripe gooseberries, acacia and wet stones on the nose. Juicy and vibrant on the palate with attractive notes of tarragon and citrus peel. Medium- to full-bodied with vivid acidity. Crunchy and flavorful at the end. From organically grown grapes. Drink now”. James Suckling – 91 points.

Chardonnay
The grapes for this approachable Puligny are hand harvested and undergo a gentle pressing. The juice is then left to settle for a few days then put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled. Great persistence in the mouth, this wine has a wonderful freshness to it and can be enjoyed in it's youth.
