Description
The Rank & File Shiraz is another stonker of a wine from Jeranneret. Coming from low yielding vines, this deeply coloured, concentrated Clare Valley Shiraz has wonderful depth and complexity. Dark fruits such as Bramble and Blackcurrant leap from the glass along with woody spice and dark chocolate notes. The generous, mouthcoating palate is more of the same with lots of immediately approachable fruit and spice wrapped up in ripe, textured tannins. Big and bold in it’s youth, this delicious wine will benefit from a decent decant before drinking and can be enjoyed with virtually anything that is chargrilled and hearty.
