Description

The Barbadillo Palomino Castillo de San Diego is crisp, fresh and unfortified!  This dry, refreshing white is a great example of the Sherry regions principle grape variety.  The wine is perfect spring/summer quaffing and a great stepping stone to appreciating the more complex, fortified and solera aged versions from DO Jerez.

Puligny Montrachet Meunier.JPG

2021 Puligny Montrachet, Domaine Meunier

Chardonnay

The grapes for this approachable Puligny are hand harvested and undergo a gentle pressing.  The juice is then left to settle for a few days then put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.  Great persistence in the mouth, this wine has a wonderful freshness to it and can be enjoyed in it's youth.
