Perfectly sited on protected, south-facing, chalk soils, the D'Urberville vineyard produces perfectly ripe grapes for exuberant, fruit led English sparkling wines.  We are proud to represent them and love the fact that it is less than a mile from the shop as the crow flies.  Zesty, fresh and very easy drinking this is a great aperitif style of English fizz.

An expressive bouquet of butter, mouth watering citrus and fleshy white fruits. The Pucelle is one of our favourite Domaine Belleville white wines, with a beautiful structure and impeccable balance on the palate. The complex palate shows a surprising mellowness backed by toasty notes and a very classy touch of minerality on the long, lingering finish.

The Kumeu Village Pinot Gris is an utterly delicious example of the grape.  Lively stone fruit and exotic notes on the nose and palate with a beautiful texture that adds weight without detracting from the purity and freshness of fruit.  This is lovely to drink on it's own but also a stellar match to a number of dishes, including spicy foods.

2025 Barbera D’asti Cantine Povero, Piedmont

Barbera

This classic Barbera is aged in stainless steel tanks, allowing the primary aromas of the varietal to shine through, including fruity notes such as cherry, orange peel, plum, and berries, all backed up by violet and elderberry floral notes.  Soft tannins and the marked acidity make this charming little wine a very versatile wine when it comes to food matching.
