It was 1927 when Pasquale Mottura looked out over the vast stretches of vineyards he had gradually set up over the years and decided to give new life to the fruit of his work by founding one of the most important wineries in Salento. Mottura has always set itself ambitious quality goals, convinced of the expressive power of native local grape varieties such as Primitivo and Negroamaro and committed to continuing ancient wine-making traditions .
The colour of this wine shows purplish reflections and has aromas of red fruit such as morello cherries as well as walnut shells. On the palate there’s plenty of sweet, velvety fruit typical of Primitivo, and the finish is full bodied and harmonious.

The Verum Cabernet Franc Seleccion, Bodegas Rio Del Elorza has classic elements on the nose including wild strawberry, blackberry, pencil shavings and a hint of blackcurrant leaf.
