Description
Domaine Alexandre is a family business handed down over three generations. Brothers Guy and Olivier run the estate today, which is set over 13 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Chablis. The vineyards are worked with great care and yields are kept low to produce expressive wines with concentrated fruit.
This is a very classic style of Chablis that is elegant and lively with a broad range of citrus and mineral characters on the palate. Plenty of fresh fruit and white floral notes are followed by dried fruit on the long balanced finish.

Pinot Noir
The grapes for this wine are hand harvested from 2 parcels in the heart of Mercurey where the soil is clay and limestone. They spend 10-15 days fermenting in the tank before being put into French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. The wine then spends 12 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.

2021 Morgon Les Charmes, Chateau Grange Cochard
Gamay
Château Grange Cochard lies in the heart of the Morgon Appelation on granitic, shaly slopes and has been crafting classic wines from their superbly sited vineyards since the 18th Century. The 'Les Charmes' is one of the favoured 'lieu-dits' of Morgon and winemaking is traditional, with hand harvested fruit fermented carefully in the semi-carbonic maceration method with half being whole bunches and half de-stemmed fruit. Maturation is in a mixture of vat and cask and sulphur addition low.

2023 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sur Gamay, Domaine Moingeon
Chardonnay
This family estate seems to get better and better with each generation that takes the helm. A wonderful Saint Aubin that balances vibrant, almost tropical fruit flavours with some well integrated oak courtesy of 11 months ageing. Rounded and elegant on the palate with a long, balanced finish, this is terrific white burgundy.
