Description
Wow, Bride Valley have truly excelled in this vintage with their Blanc de Blancs. Distinctly elegant with a beautifully balanced citrus and creamy palate, notes of toasty brioche with green apple and stone fruit. Crisp and fresh initially, the palate builds to give a well rounded, textured wine with a zesty, sherbert tinged finish. It is a deserved winner of multiple awards including a Gold at the IEWA (Independent English Wine Awards) and also the coveted ‘Best in Show’.

2022 Mont-Sur-Rolle Grand Cru, Maison Blanche, AOC La Cote
Chasselas
This is a delicious, more'ish white made mainly from Chasselas, the grape variety which is typical to the Canton of Vaud. Yves and Antoine de Mestral like to play around with it, making wine several different styles, of which this was our favourite. Quite classic in style for Chasselas with a lovely balance of the creamy, fruity, floral and mineral palate. Rich and complex, this is a perfect wine to sip on its own, enjoy with fish and seafood.

2025 Gavi di Gavi Bric Sassi, Roberto Sarotto
Cortese
The Bric Sassi vineyard enjoys a privileged position in the Gavi growing area. Here the vineyards mostly face due South, and are made up of 40 year old vines. The result is a complex wine with delicious white peach notes on the nose leading onto more stone fruit on the palate as well as delicious honeydew melon.

NV Brut, Champagne Germar Breton, Aube
Champagne Blend
This delightful, and rather smart looking, Champagne comes from the relatively young Champagne House of Germar Breton that was established in 2005. Based in the southerly Aube region, they make approachable, terrific value wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This wonderful introduction to their range shows expressive brioche, green apple and quince fruit and has wonderfully balanced acidity. Germar Breton are certainly a Champagne House to keep an eye on.
