Description
This second wine of Chateau Angludet is a perfectly mature claret that shows the elegance and finesse of it’s more grown up sibling at a fraction of the price. Silky, red and dark fruits abound with notes of cedar and liquorice sitting alongside well-integrated spice and oak. Medium-bodied and approachable now, there is still enough structure to suggest further ageing would be possible.
The words ‘Bordeaux’ and ‘Bargain’ are not natural bedfellows but this excellent value red shows that there is still great value to be had in the region.
