Description
The Vina Bosconia is an unashamedly old school Rioja that manages to balance being light on it’s feet yet with true depth and complexity. Made with mostly Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha and 5% split between Mazuelo and Graciano, the Bosconia is aged in ancient American oak barrels for 5 years. There’s plenty of savoury fruit notes, spice and cedar alongside more developed characters of dried mushrooms and cedar. The wines from Lopez de Heredia age gracefully and although this Reserva can be joyed now with a decent decant, it is certainly built to last.

Smooth, fruit and spice flavours with toasted oak, velvety cherry fruit and a slight hint of liquorice. Lasting rich fruit flavours with smooth round tannins. Complex and structured. A pleasant finish with red fruits and hints of eucalyptus.
