Bodegas Gratias was established in 2007 after a couple of friends decided to make some wine on a whim.  The results were so good that they decided to give it a go as a career - If only everything in life were so simple! The ethos of the property is to make wine with as little intervention as possible from organically farmed vineyards planted to grapes which were indigenous to the area.

Chenin Blanc Blend

Domaine du Landreau are 4th generation growers who produce a range of clean, crisp and expressive wines in the central Loire Valley.  The Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc grapes are hand harvested over several passages through the vineyard, ensuring the grapes are picked at their optimum ripeness.  A slow, cool ferment and 3 years lees ageing help this traditional method sparkling wine develop it's delicate floral, citrus and apple notes with nutty undertones.  Elegant on the finish with a creamy texture courtesy of the ageing make this a stunning value alternative to entry-level Champagnes.
