The Cuvee de Reserve is extremely approachable and one of our best selling Champagnes. Exuberant, rounded and almost dangerously easy drinking, it’s a widely appealing style that keeps customers coming back for more again and again.
Didier Gallimard owns 10 hectares of prime vineyards on the steep slopes around Les Riceys in the southern Aube. Didier’s son Arnaud has joined him, becoming the seventh generation, and the long-term future is now secure. Their vines’ average age is over 30 years and the dramatically sloping vineyards, which are of chalk and Kimmeridgian limestone, are planted mainly to Pinot Noir and just a little Chardonnay. Their wines are full and rich and offer enticing aromas and flavours of summer fruits.

Delavenne are an outstanding family run grower based in Bouzy making elegant, organic and vegan friendly Champagnes exclusively from their Grand Cru vineyards. Minimal intervention and no malolactic fermentation means that the wines are clean and lively with a distinct purity. This amazing rosé has wonderful red fruit (strawberry and raspberry) character with hints of rose petal and baked apple. The palate contains a bit of weight and a creamy texture making it great as a food wine.

It's extremely classy with a great depth of flavour showing apple fritter and brioche with fresh apple and lemon drop charatcters. We are delighted to have these wines on our shelves, and also very lucky seeing as most of the production ends up on the tables of some of France's best Michelin Starred restaurants.
