Champagne Delavenne released this limited edition cuvee to celebrate the birth of the 5th Generation of the family. 70% Chardonnay with 30% reserve wines, all from Grand Cru vineyards in Bouzy, this complex, rich and mineral tinged Champagne spends a minimum of 5 years ageing in bottle before disgorging and a further 6 months under cork before release.
Delavenne don’t use any chemical fertilizers on their vines, and carefully control every aspect of their organic production to ensure that their wines are a true reflection of the Bouzy terroir. Production of the Amour de Louise was a mere 3048 bottles.

Delavenne are an outstanding family run grower based in Bouzy making elegant, organic and vegan friendly Champagnes exclusively from their Grand Cru vineyards. Minimal intervention and no malolactic fermentation means that the wines are clean and lively with a distinct purity. This amazing rosé has wonderful red fruit (strawberry and raspberry) character with hints of rose petal and baked apple. The palate contains a bit of weight and a creamy texture making it great as a food wine.
