There is no denying the class of Bollinger and their distinctive dry, full bodied style is world renowned. 60% Pinot Noir with 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, the wine contains a large amount of reserve wines, some of which is aged in magnum for between 5 & 15 years, developing complexity to add to the finished product. Delavenne are an outstanding family run grower based in Bouzy making elegant, organic and vegan friendly Champagnes exclusively from their Grand Cru vineyards. Minimal intervention and no malolactic fermentation means that the wines are clean and lively with a distinct purity. This amazing rosé has wonderful red fruit (strawberry and raspberry) character with hints of rose petal and baked apple. The palate contains a bit of weight and a creamy texture making it great as a food wine.
