Established in 1770, Domaine Guyon-Barillot is a historic family estate nestled in the heart of Pouilly-Fumé, Loire Valley, encompassing 11 hectares of old vines, some up to 70 years in age. This remarkable terroir, rich in limestone and flint (silex), imparts the distinct minerality and aromatic precision that define the estate’s wines. As an early pioneer of modern vinification, Domaine Guyon-Barillot was among the first in the region to adopt temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. Today, they incorporate egg-shaped tanks into select blends, enhancing the wine’s aromatic complexity and finesse.

It's not made with oranges, but the name refers to a white wine made in the red wine method, with fermentation taking place on the skins of the grapes, hence the darker colour.
