The Caliterra Cabernet Reserva is a superb value for money Chilean Cab with dark fruits and cherries on the nose and palate. Rounded and easy with hints of cinnamon spice and mocha, this medium bodied red is a great midweek wine to whip out when impromptu guests come round.
Caliterra are based in the heart of Colchagua on a 1000 hectare Estate, of which only 243 hectares are planted to vines with the remainder left to nature. There is a big emphasis on sustainability and their aim is to produce elegant, fruit driven wines which are a pleasure to drink.
