Description
The Flametree Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blend is a delicious example of this Bordeaux style white blend. Elegant citrus and stone fruit sit merrily alongside more exotic fruit notes such as lychee. The maritime influence is clear in the fresh, zippy finish. This wine is delicious now but will continue to evolve happily in bottle for a while yet.
We are delighted to have the Flametree wines on our shelves and although they are relative newcomers to the Margaret River winemaking scene they wasted no time in creating a stellar reputation for their wines and picking numerous prestigious awards.

2024 Picpoul De Pinet Mare Nostrum, Caves De Montagnac
Picpoul
The Montagnac cellar was created in 1937 and has grown with vineyards stretching over 7 communes all along the Thau lake in the mountainous foothills of Hérault. Around 2,000 hectares are vinified on 2 different sites, a major part of which is located on clay-limestone soils with some pockets of marl as well. The climate is Mediterranean, dry and hot during summer, but more temperate due to it's proximity to the sea.
