Description
The grapes for the Vinha do Reino Douro Tinto come from a plot of 30 hectares of vines, some of them over 100 years old. The vineyard sits on schist soils, with some granitic outcrops at an altitude between 250 to 470 m, providing hot summers and little annual rainfall. This terrific value red Douro blend is opulent and welcoming on the nose with notes of red fruit and wild berries. The plate shows an elegant lightness of touch and freshness with bright red berries, bramble fruits and a wonderfully light tannin structure.
